I’m using Outlook as my client for an Outlook. I started having the problem after one of my work accounts shut down and I couldn’t log in under that email. I started Outlook up in safe-mode and was able to reset my default profile to my outlook. Eventually, it asks for my Outlook. So I created a new app password and used it to authenticate on the login popup. But since then Been waiting for 30 minutes for the the Loading Profile to go away.

This isn’t about password verification, this is about the actual Outlook application getting stuck at the “Loading Profile”.

This wasn’t happening before I did an update to Office , which makes me think that there is some kind of bug in the profile identification or translation from the upgrade. This all works when I start Outlook up in safe mode, which is further evidence that the problem is not the service authentication, it is a problem with the Office Outlook client application.

I would like to know if you find this [KB] update installed in your computer? Let us uninstall the [KB] update and restart the system, then run the windows update and check if it helps. I do have update KB However, when in Uninstall Programs, it does not appear. Is it a question of simply deleting all the related files? If an outlook. Office loaded in December, including Outlook. After a week or so, Outlook “processes” endlessly and won’t start. Luckily I can access email from web, using gmails. I have to create a new name and put in at least one email address, use it once, and then I can go back to the original Outlook profile, which is preferable, because the new one goes all the way back and picks up old emails on the server.

Like I said, it’s tremendously inconvenient. But it works. I don’t think anyone at Microsoft is reading these, nor that they plan to FIX anything we write about here. Unless the stumble upon it themselves, it probably will not be fixed. I keep hoping for an update that comes along and it miraculously works again.

It just sits in the Open window with “Processing” at the bottom, forever. I even uninstalled everything that was was upgraded right before it started, and it still does it.

I left it overnight two nights to see if it really was processing something for some reason. I have Office I am not able to uninstall or reinstall either. I get the “Something has gone wrong” box.
