Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. Thanks for your feedback. The issue with most of these problems is the computer has yet to fully login passed the user screen. My PC did the exact same thing today. I came up from Windows 7 Professional and that was a fairly clean build as of a month ago. I had this PC running technical preview from the start, upgrading to every build with no issue. I decided to start fresh from 7 and do it clean. Hardware wise Intel first gen I5 with Nvidia Graphics.

I only had keyboard and mouse plugged in. Hell startup repair couldn’t do anything for me either. I downloaded the ISO from Here and made an out of band iso on another machine.

Burned the disc and booted to it. I tried startup repair from the disk, doing offline SFC scans. I then tried to do a system reset with keeping my files. It seemed it was getting an access denied to my files. I then said for the machine to reset and just nuke everything.

That seems to have done the ticket. Sucks I lost everything and my environment but eh Oh I tried to roll back to 7 as an option but there was no option for that. Bugs right! I do believe this is a bug if others are experiencing it. So after the system reset and data wipe I found out my wifi card was causing the issue. When going through the setup wizard, at the wifi setup screen it would lock up after putting in my key.

It would then reboot from a crash. If I skipped that part of the process in setup and updated my wifi driver once in windows it would work. The technical preview did nothing like that. Anyways download the iso maker tool, create a disk or usb stick and start fresh! If you need your files see if you can remove the drive and recover that way. The screen is flashing and it won’t pull up settings on the side.

On a reboot, F7 doesn’t work either. It is doing a system sync circle and keeps flashing. I can’t get to safe mode, so I can uninstall HELP please.
